I have been training in Rome for 3 years.
Before I lived in Modena and I had to change city for training high level.

Only in Rome , where there is the national team. In the other cities is very difficult to play pentathlon because of the high costs.

I train with the athletes of the Italian national team

The athletes of the Italian national team train all together respecting two different group, Olimpyc and national “B”.

How many hours do you train a day?

I train 6/7 hours a day .
 6 days a week.

I’m in the sport team of forester police and my job for now is pentathlon.    

For playing pentathlon at the high level in Italy is necessary to stay in a military team.
Nobody has time to do other activity.
Almost every athletes in national team are in military team (Police, Carabinieri, etc.)

Are you payed for playing pentathlon?
If yes, who pays you?
Do you earn enough to live on?

I earn now 750 euro a month like forester, in the future I’ll earn more. 
From Italian federation I actually take 5000 euro a year.
It will be enough in some month when I’ll earn more. 
I don’t have many expenditure.

Every athletes is payed by his military team. They earn approximately 1500 euro a month.
From Italian federation only 6 athletes take some money. 
Who have family and have to pay a home has big economic problems

What’s the biggest difficulty in playing pentathlon in your country?

What do you think about combined event?

The big problem that exists in my country is that for playing pentathlon at the high level is necessary stay in Rome because the cost for playing this sport in the civil team are very big in the other city.

I don’t like combined because I run so fast on the 3000 mt and I think that with the combined event I don’t have this advantage.
