In the very difficult semifinals many big are out. Zadneprovskis, Dietz, Frolov, Meliakh, Cerkovskis leave the competition and do not enter in the final.
The gold medal is for the European champion Gabor Balogh. Very good in the technical events he wins the competition overtaking Kirpulyansky (Ukr) in the running. For him is the third success in a world cup event.
For the first time in a world cup podium the ukrain athlete is perfect in the fencing (1048).
Bronze medal for the world champion Krungolcas who started not so good in shooting and fencing. The medal comes after a very good riding and running. He has already had a bronze medal  in Cairo.
