Combined event mania

Youth A European Championships has seen the rise of the combined event in an official competition. The new formula has been a mix of suspence and amusement.
From the first january 2009 the combined event will be the new reality in Modern Pentathlon competitions: it is missing only one poll in the Uipm council.
Next year there will be a lot of competition to try the new formula: competions for the young athletes and maybe for the seniores ones. The rules will be reviewed and improved.

Be ready, because shooting and running are going to change!
